Tesla’s latest innovation, the Tesla Optimus Robot, made its debut inside a stunning $6.85 million home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Mandeville Canyon, The Post has learned.
The high-tech automaton was seen inside the home for sale in the launch video, which premiered in October. 11, doing daily household chores. They included cleaning and irrigation plants, all within the sleek property.
The show, inside 2167 Mandeville Canyon Rd., a sprawling five-bedroom space listed by Jason Peteler of Revel Real Estate, marked the first time Tesla’s humanoid robot had ever been filmed inside a home.
The video has already garnered over 9 million views on X and 1.5 million views on YouTube.
Tesla’s choice of the property was no accident, according to the listing representative.
“It’s kind of a balance between a more modern style of the property, and they thought it would blend well with their robot and their look for that particular scene,” Peteler told The Post.
The home—with its polished marble finishes, 35-foot-wide pool, and secluded location—visually aligns with the brand’s futuristic vision.
“To have robots in the near future taking care of things, and this is the first home that’s ever had them running inside… it’s pretty cool. I was definitely excited about it,” Peteler added.
The video also shows the Tesla Optimus unloading groceries and even playing games with the kids in the home’s stylish and spacious living areas.
While Tesla kept the project under wraps until the big reveal, Peteler revealed that they rented out the house for a few days for filming.
“We didn’t even know what they were shooting at,” he said. “They were very secretive. We saw other Teslas on the road, but never the robot. Once the discovery happened, it was very exciting for us.”
The house is known as “La Reserve”.
Set behind 10-foot gates, the estate features elegant public spaces, a 14-foot Rosso Levanto marble kitchen island, and a master suite with distinctive his-and-hers dressings.
Peteler sees this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
“Tesla could probably rent any house they want in Los Angeles,” he said, “but they chose this one.”
